29% Rise in Mouteh Gold Output
EghtesadOnline: Mouteh Gold Mine produced 175 kilograms of gold ingots during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 29% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
Forty-five kilograms were produced in the month ending July 22, showing a 25% rise year-on-year. Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral, Mouteh Gold Mine, is located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province and operates with an annual output capacity of 300,000 kilograms, according to Financial Tribune.
